This beginner-friendly class offers a gentle approach to yoga, perfect for anyone seeking a relaxing practice, a good stretch, and a moment of calm in their day. Guided at a slow and supportive pace, Gentle Yoga includes easy-to-follow movements, longer-held stretches, and time for intentional breathwork, mindfulness, and deep relaxation. The focus is on releasing tension, improving mobility, and becoming more attuned to the subtle sensations in your body—all without strain or pressure. Whether you're new to yoga, returning after a break, or simply craving a quiet reset, this class invites you to honor your body, quiet your mind, and cultivate ease from the inside out. In this class, you can expect: - Slow, accessible movements to gently open the body - Guided breath to calm the nervous system - Longer holds for deeper stretching and release - Meditation and mindfulness infused throughout - A peaceful environment to relax, restore, and unwind Come as you are—no experience needed. Just bring your breath, and we’ll take care of the rest. How to Prepare: - a yoga mat (mat rentals available in limited supply for $5) - water (Bolsters, blankets, straps, blocks, and other yoga props are provided) - dress in comfortable clothes you can move, stretch, and invert in - we ask that you please refrain from wearing cologne or perfume - eat light before or wait until after class to ensure you can bend, fold, invert, and twist with ease - plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to find parking, settle in, and sign our waiver if it is your first time joining us
